Don't Burn Pakistan

We too are born in Pakistan and we don't burn buildings, kill people or senselessly target anyone when we want to protest. We can talk, write and have a dialogue without setting tyres on fire. Join us if you think likewise. Contact: dontburnpakistan@gmail.com

help stop this madness

i am saddened and upset about pakistan's reaction to the cartoon issue, as muslims we should not engage in or support violence,

we only serve to harm ourselves by burning offices, restaurants and banks.

and we only tarnish the image of islam and also pakistan by resorting to violent protests, wouldn't peaceful protests be heard much louder,

So True! This sort of reaction is exactly what the west expects out of muslim world. Raise hue & cry and torch your own building, burn an effigy a few flags, some innocent loose their lives and thats it.

The real issue remains unsolved undone!

It is a psycological trap. After burning Pakistan's own infrastructure, killing and hurting their own people as well as devastating its international reputation, I can imagine people wander off with the sense of accomplishment that they have done something for the country and Islam. It is very saddening. It does not speak well of our moral values as a nation as well.
